For those scheduled to work on football game days, please mark your calendar now with reminders of upcoming Carolina Football games. Home games routinely impact traffic and even bus routes on and around the Chapel Hill campus.
Please Note: Additional on campus activities prior to all home games will increase traffic several hours ahead of kick off time.
- On campus tailgating will open four hours before each game.
- The Chapel Thrill concert in Polk Place will take place two hours before each home game.
Updated gameday parking reminders for employees schedule to work:
- Craige, Jackson, and Cardinal permit holders can park in their assigned lot if they park before 8am when game day operations start.
- All permit holders who arrive between 8am – 5pm including Bell Tower Deck, Cardinal, Jackson, Craige, and S11, and Park & Ride should park on levels 4-5 of the Dogwood Deck.
- Be prepared to present your UNC Health ID/SOM ID Badge when exiting the Dogwood Deck.
- Employees reporting with Assigned Daily or other non-annual permits must also submit a Football Request form to use Dogwood Deck on home football games.
- The Lower Cancer Hospital lot is reserved for emergency vehicles and on-call physician parking during football games.
