Paul Marini, MHA, has been named the Department of Orthopaedics associate chair for administration and will begin his work in the role on August 7. He currently serves in the Department of Radiology as the department’s director of operations and strategy.
Marini joined the Department of Radiology in 2015, serving as the department’s contracts and grants manager, and, in 2018, he was named the department’s business manager, overseeing departmental finance and accounting, research administration, administrative support, public communications and human resources management. He was promoted in 2021 to his current director role. He also serves as a member of the department chair’s leadership council.
Marini received his BA in hospitality management with a minor in business administration from UNC Greensboro and his executive master’s in healthcare administration at UNC’s Gillings School of Global Public Health.
