The UNC School of Medicine medical student professionalism committee, the Committee for Professionalism Education (COPE), is accepting applications for committee members.
The committee reviews student professional lapses and triage to education, coaching, remediation, discipline and more. Kristy Borawski, MD, chairs the committee and will report to Associate Dean for Student Affairs Alice Chuang, MD, MEd.
The committee will include both faculty and students and it requires a three-year commitment. Meetings will be held once monthly on the 3rd Thursday at 4 p.m.
