The School of Medicine is participating again school-wide in the annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest hosted by UNC Hospital’s Triangle West Recognition Committee and is looking for the spookiest, silliest and most creative pumpkins to help teammates celebrate the cooler temperatures and to liven up our units with a bit of seasonal fun.
For non-clinical departments that are not able to submit their pumpkin order through the hospital link:
- Please submit your request using this order form. Orders due by Friday, Sept. 22, at noon.
- Pumpkins ordered will be available for pick up Thursday, Oct. 5, at UNC Hospitals/Cancer loading dock from 2 – 5 p.m. Please ensure that you have someone available to pick up at that time.
Clinical departments can use this link to order.
Teams also are welcome to provide and decorate their own pumpkins and submit a photo.
A contest photo should be submitted by Wednesday, Oct. 18, to vitalsigns@med.unc.edu. Winners will be featured in Vital Signs and on UNC Health and School of Medicine social media, and winning teams will receive a fun prize.
