The 2024 AAMC Early Career Women Faculty Leadership Development Seminar has extended its application deadline to Oct. 30 at 5 p.m. The seminar is designed for women physicians and scientists with a minimum of two years and maximum of 8 years of experience as an assistant professor. The curriculum for this seminar is highly focused on preparing for academic promotion/advancement and to identify leadership opportunities.
The Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development strongly encourages you or your colleagues to apply for this distinguished program. If chosen to participate, FALD offers up to two scholarships to cover registration fees and up to $1,000 in travel support for the seminar, scheduled for February 20 – 23, 2024, at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego. Upon acceptance into the program, participants can submit a CV and a concise personal statement for the opportunity to be considered for the FALD scholarship.
