Dear Teammates,
I would like to wish each of you a Happy Holiday Season and a healthy New Year. I hope you can take some time in the days and weeks ahead to enjoy the Holidays with your family, rest, relax, and recharge.
As we turn the page on 2023 and look ahead to 2024, I would ask you to reflect on two important questions. How can your work every day ensure that each patient we serve has a world class experience? How can your words and actions encourage others and contribute to an environment and culture where everyone can be their very best?
As we enter the new year, my priority is making it easier for patients to access Carolina Care while also making sure you can focus more on what brings meaning and joy to your work.
There are so many reasons to feel encouraged. In the next several months, we will begin implementing components of our new Forward Together 2030 strategic plan, which will go a long way toward accomplishing the goals I just mentioned. This work will continue for many years ahead, but the planning done now will set the foundation for this transformational project.
It is such an honor to work alongside you. I’m extremely proud of all that we have accomplished and excited by the opportunities ahead of us. Working together as One Great Team, we can continue to improve the health and well-being of the people of North Carolina in 2024 and for many years to come.
