Dear UNC Health and UNC School of Medicine Leaders,
I’m pleased to share that Jeff Lindsay has accepted the position of UNC Health President & Chief Operating Officer. Jeff joins us from a 27-year career at Novant Health, where he held a number of positions.
For the past nine years, Jeff served as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (COO), where his focus has been on developing the internal infrastructure to enable a high performing and high-quality enterprise. He also has a strong commitment to reducing health disparities. Jeff will begin working at UNC Health on Tuesday, Dec. 26. He replaces Steve Burriss, who left over the summer for a position at Orlando Health.
I would like to thank Audrea Caesar and Tracy Parham for their work in leading the search committee for the President & COO position.
