The Academy of Educators (AOE), located within the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, is now accepting applications for new faculty and resident members. Nominations are due by Monday, April 1, at 11:59 p.m. and can be submitted on the AOE website.
Founded on enhancing research and scholarship toward excellence in teaching, the AOE is seeking faculty, residents and fellows committed to teaching learners within the UNC School of Medicine, UNC Health and participating AHEC sites. To accomplish these goals, we strive for the creation and design of new curricular materials and scholarly research within medical education and the willingness to implement new methodologies and technology.
Acceptance to the AOE brings expectations of continued leadership in educational initiatives and active participation in the goals of the Academy (minimum of four events for all types of membership).
