SOM Resources: One UNC Health Learning Map Experience Roll-out

SOM departments leaders are asked to share the One UNC Health Learning Map Experience with their teammates.

To facilitate, the Culture Team has shared a number of options so that departments can choose the format that works best for them.

Type:	Large Group or Events	Team Focused	Virtual Experience	Huddles	Online	Gallery Walk
Experience:	Town Hall, Retreats. The “Big Bang” Event. An interactive, large group activity. With more participants, you may achieve greater diversity in experiences and ideas.	Existing or new department/team meeting. An interactive activity that can be incorporated into regularly scheduled meetings.	Virtual experience via Zoom and link to external platform. (No LMS access needed). Utilizes break out rooms.	Content broken out into two 30 min blocks in order to be incorporated in team huddles. Best when meetings are weekly or biweekly. Not recommended for huddles >12 people.	Abbreviated 30 min session offered asynchronously for employees through Carolina Talent (SOM) or LMS (UNC Health)	The Gallery Walk provides an opportunity for a large number of teammates to experience the Learning Map in small groups of 8-10. Ideal for incorporating into existing large events. e.g. Engagement Events, Leadership Training Events, Seasonal Events
