UNC SOM seeks a faculty member with experience in seeing both outpatient pediatric and adult patients to serve in the role of Faculty Director for SHAC, UNC’s student run free clinic. The faculty member is responsible for advising the student leadership and overseeing all the clinical duties within SHAC.
This individual should be available starting Jan 1, 2025 for training and on-boarding at 0.05 FTE salary support and able to take on 0.1 FTE salary support starting July 1, 2025. will answer to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs in their role in supporting the students. They will need to have familiarity with outpatient clinic operations. Prior volunteer experience with SHAC is preferred.
