Leadership and Mentoring Development Opportunities

The ACC Academic Leaders Network (ACC ALN) is designed for mid- to senior-career faculty and faculty in administrative roles. Participants will have the opportunity to attend three leadership conferences hosted by ACC universities in 2025, focusing on leadership growth, networking, and collaboration across institutions.

  • Mentoring Up: Optimizing Mentoring Relationships: This interactive Professional Development Workshop, an adaptation of CIMER’s Mentoring Up curriculum, introduces steps faculty can take to engage with potential mentors, sponsors, and other support. Participants will also develop and practice skills for connecting and communicating with potential mentors.

  • Request a Consultation: The CFE offers confidential, affirming consultations to help faculty clarify mentoring and leadership goals, explore development opportunities, and access resources. Request a tailored consultation to receive guidance and support.

Teaching and Learning Opportunities

  • Teaching in Challenging Times: The CFE is offering online resources to help faculty to engage their students in challenging classroom conversations. Instructors can also join our “Conversations on Teaching in Challenging Times” discussions to navigate these critical teaching topics.
