An ad hoc committee has been appointed to conduct a routine five-year review of the Neuroscience Center, led by Center Director Mark Zylka, PhD. This review is part of the standard review process at UNC Chapel Hill and will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2026.

The review committee invites feedback from the community.

  • To submit written comments or to request an interview with the committee, please contact the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development at fiveyearreview@med.unc.edu. The deadline to submit feedback is September 2, 2026.

Please note that North Carolina law requires that any written materials developed or received by the review committee may be made available to the individual(s) under review upon request. All such requests will be handled by the legal department, and identifying information will be redacted prior to release.
