The UNC Reimagining Residency grant team is pleased to invite members of the UNC School of Medicine and UNC Health community to apply for an innovation grant to ‘Promote Joy in Medicine.’
The SOM is a recipient of the American Medical Association (AMA) Reimagining Residency Grant (Catherine Coe, MD, PI), which seeks to promote positive change in medical education.
Selected teams will receive a 1 year, $10,000 grant to support novel experiments in ‘Joy in Medicine’ for the 2023 – 2024 academic year.
All applications will be submitted to Hayley Applegate, Hayley_applegate@med.unc.edu, electronically by 5 p.m. on Monday, August 29.
Applicants will need to:
- Prepare a proposal in accordance with the guidelines (see proposal guidelines)
- Solicit letters of support from leadership, no more than two letters.
- Include a brief biography of the grant team members.
