Dana Clifton, M.Ed., has joined the UNC School of Medicine as the associate chair of administration for the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. She began her work in this role on April 8.

Clifton joins the UNC School of Medicine from Yale New Haven Health, where she spent several years, serving in a number of leadership roles. Most recently she was engaged as business and quality leader overseeing implementation of innovative software solution and operational improvements.

In her role as associate chair of administration she will oversee business operations for the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. She received her Masters from Ashford University and her Bachelors from the University of Rhode Island.
