The UNC Institute for Healthcare Quality Improvement (IHQI) is excited to announce its 2025- 2026 call for concept proposals for the Improvement Scholars Program (ISP). We are seeking proposals for Quality Improvement (QI) projects that focus on improving clinical care and outcomes for patients.

ISP is a structured, experiential learning program for UNC School of Medicine and UNC Health clinicians that gives participants the opportunity to design and lead a QI project with guidance from clinical improvement leaders from IHQI.

Applicants whose proposals meet selection criteria will be invited to submit a full project proposal. Participants whose proposals are selected will spend a year working on their project while learning QI concepts and tools they can use to improve patient care.

The submission deadline is January 31, 2025. To submit your concept proposal please visit our website here.
