Teammates,
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback on our system’s organizational values. We used your input to “refresh” our values and are excited to share them with you.
We introduced our four values in 2019 under ONE UNC Health: One Great Team, Carolina Care, Leading the Way and It Starts with Me. These values are critical in driving who we are – and want to be – as an organization and for our culture.
Through surveys, focus groups, and conversations with teammates, clinicians and leaders alike, you told us that that our values resonate with you, but you would like to better understand what they mean and how we can truly “live” them every day, in every interaction. Our values set the standard for how we treat one another.
So, while our system values will not change, this refresh will:
- Clarify their definitions, and
- Include key behaviors and mindsets for each of us to embody.
Over the next few months, we will spotlight each of our organizational values, their refreshed definition, and key behaviors.
