Sara Pacini, a PhD candidate the pharmacology department, was selected to represent the School of Medicine (PhD in Pharmacology) in the CLARION Competition, held April 17–18.
CLARION is a national interprofessional education (IPE) competition. This year’s competition brought together 11 teams from universities across the country, with a total of 40 students representing multiple health professions.
UNC–Chapel Hill was also honored with the 2026 CLARION National Health Equity Innovation Award.
Throughout the spring semester, the UNC team worked collaboratively to research, analyze, and develop recommendations for a complex, real-world healthcare case. Their work demonstrated strong interprofessional collaboration and a deep commitment to health equity.
