The Respiratory Diagnostic Clinic at the Ambulatory Care Center is pleased to announce that they will be offering limited, free COVID-19 testing to asymptomatic employees. The University has also partnered with the Orange County Health Department to provide no cost testing.

The UNC System Office has provided us with updated guidance about work and leave provisions for faculty and staff effective May 9, 2020. This guidance will remain in effect until further notice.

Because the situation in North Carolina remains fluid, and the Governor is expected to share updates to the state’s stay-at-home-order on or around May 8, the UNC System Office has directed that the guidance that has been in place for the month of April remain in place until further notice.

Employee parking costs for registered permit holders are suspended reflecting a temporary cancellation of permits from March 22 through April 30, 2020. SUSPENDED ON-CAMPUS PARKING REGULATIONS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

With the CDC now recommending use of a facemask for all people around others, we are expanding our mask program. All employees working on-site at UNC Health or UNC School of Medicine, regardless of degree of patient contact, must wear a mask – view the updated policy.
