Otology/Neurotology & Lateral Skull Base Surgery provides otological and lateral skull base care at UNC and is comprised of a team of sub-specialty board-certified neurotologists, who have advanced training in the surgical care of ear and hearing related pathology.

Programs

Fellowship

The Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at UNC established the neurotology fellowship in 2011 which became formally accredited by the ACGME in 2019, under the directorship of Kevin Brown, MD, PhD, and A. Morgan Selleck, MD. The fellowship is a two-year program in which trainees are exposed to all aspects of otology, neurotology and lateral skull base surgery.
