Research Interests

My research focuses on therapeutic apheresis and its applications. I am particularly interested in thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), specifically the causes and exacerbating factors. Currently, I am investigating the role of infection in both the initial presentation of TTP as well as exacerbations during treatment.
